Game details & reminders
A reminder that practice this week will be Thursday at Green Lake Park across from the Albertsons @ 6:30pm. Also, on Sunday we have Metro Games with Portland making a third metro team. We’ve reserved Spinney Homestead Park for the games. Directions are:
I-5 north to I-405 north to exit 18 (NE 85th Street to Kirkland) At the first light take a right onto 114th Avenue, Go about 2 blocks to the first stop sign and turn right onto NE 87th St Follow NE 87th, in two blocks it turns forces you to turn north and becomes 116th Avenue, Follow 116th Avenue to 100th Street and turn right (the sign for 100th St is partially hidden by a tree on the left, so I’ll put up a paper plate with “AFL” and an arrow written on it on a telephone pole that is to the right side of the road). About 2 blocks down, on the left is the parking lot for the park.
We ask that you carpool since there are only 11 parking spots for the park. If they are full, we can park a few cars on the street, but the parks department asks that we keep that to a minimum. Also, no alcohol in the park.
Game schedule for the day: 12:00pm Portland vs Seattle/UW 1:00pm Seattle/UW vs Eastside 2:00pm Portland vs Eastside
20 minute halves and we’ll play whatever the maximum number we can field, ie, everyone gets a run.
