Unfortunately we have not been able to secure a field for Thursday night. People are travelling from as far away as Kent & Everett so without guaranteed space it is unfair on those guys to ask them to turn up in the hope we get something. Right now we are desperate and will take any reasonable suggestions for training venues. However we still have an obligation to support the Kangaroo & Kiwi so we'll see as many as possible at the pub from 8 p.m. to watch the game. Watch this space for updates--we may be able to get something over the weekend. Match report will be posted tomorrow. Posted on Wednesday, April 30, 2003 Our first game of the 2003 season will take place this Saturday, April 26th at 3pm sharp. We will be playing at Loyal Heights Rec Center located at 2001 NW 75th in Ballard (corner of 20th and 75th). You can get driving directions using this maplink. Please be at the ground at least 30 minutes prior to game time to help setup and get ready for the big clash. Remember to bring footy boots, Richmond guernsey if you have one, water bottle and mouthguard. Following the game we will be heading to our sponsor pub, the Kangaroo and Kiwi (www.kangarooandkiwipub.com) to help them celebrate their 2nd birthday with live in house horse racing. Remember, players need to pay their $30 annual membership prior to playing in the game. Payment arrangements or payment plans should be made ahead of time with the new club Treasurer, Justyn Shevlin. In addition to eligibility to all Seattle Grizzlies (yes remember that's our new name) games, with club membership you also receive the soon to be released Seattle Grizzlies t-shirt!
